Advertisers use this method very often and in one-way it is quite brain washing. There are two types of adverts, one that is read in a newspaper and one you see on television. They use very similar but also very different techniques. 'The Seductress' is a written advert for a newspaper. It uses very persuasive language that diverts the attention from the practical details. It also features the women as sexual objects. Therefore it is aimed to men not women.
