Hitler joined the unemployed men to the army where as Roosevelt reduced unemployment by starting the alphabet laws (new deal). In the new deal there were agencies like the works progress administration (WPA) which bought together all the organisations whose aim was to create jobs for the unemployed. The difference between Hitler and Roosevelt at reducing unemployment is that Hitler encouraged the unemployed to join the army and rearm whereas Roosevelt started the new deal and created jobs from different agencies.
