Less information has been given about the patterns of drinking by pregnant women, the psychological risk factors associated with drinking during pregnancy and the birth of the FAS children. Women should be given this information so they can help insure that their child does not have the symptoms. Intense research should be done and people should be informed of the findings in order for the number of children with FAS to decrease.
