The definition of genetic testing that is to summarise what it entails is as follows: 'Analyzing DNA to look for a genetic alteration that may indicate an increased risk for developing a specific disease or disorder.' This definition is that of someone who thinks that genetic testing is only for what we refer to as 'good cause' however, there are some who believe that it only causes problems, and that diseases are misfortunes and cannot/shouldn't be prevented, yet these people are still held up in the pretence that they believe it is okay.
