It is because Natural changes usually happen very slowly, so the effects on individual species are slighter, at least over the short term, but when the rate of change is speeded up, there will be no time for species to adapt to new conditions, this is directly linked to the size of human population. Another problem is the exotic species, which are deliberately or accidentally introduced into new habits by human activities.
