Rate= Amount of product Time PREDICTION We will be looking at Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) being broken down into (H2O) and Oxygen (O2). We will also investigate the factors that change the rate of reaction. I predict that the amount of H2O2 and the amount of catalase in the potato (length) will affect the rate of reaction. I think that the longer the potato, the reaction should be faster because there is more catalase therefore there are more active sites for the substrate to join with.
