Theory I am testing to see whether potato tubes will gain in mass and size in water, and I will also see whether the Molarity of the solution that the tubes are placed in will effect the mass and size difference. I am doing this because osmosis is the diffusion water particles from a dilute solution to a concentrated solution. The varying Molarity solutions will effect how much dilute solution will diffuse into the concentrated solution. I will base this hypothesis on a preliminary experiment done before.
