... the door finally swung open and an old woman appeared. She wasn't very tall, about my height. She seemed rather sinister in the dull red dress she was wearing. The dress looked very worn. It had faded and looked to have been made at least 40 years earlier. "Come in my dear" she said. "Its cold outside. Her voice was warm and welcoming. It took away the previously eerie feeling about her. I stepped in and the door creaked shut behind me. It made me jump but the woman took no notice. "What is it you wanted my child." She asked.
