The first step when beginning to look at the above statement is to start to understand what is meant by the 'ruling class.' In today's society where large enterprises are seen to hold more power than some governments and where it is very hard to see, to the common person, who is actually making the decisions that define our everyday lives, the actual ruling class is rarely defined and pinpointed.
