Children can also contribute in charities with adults, they might not be too responsible but they are conscious of what they are doing and they know it's a good doing. On the other hand the statement is correct that being a Christian is a serious matter, it's your religion and it should be taken serious. It one of your main influences in socialisation when you're growing up and it influences in what your opinions and views are.
