A norm is something that is usual or regular or typical. If something is not common then it is abnormal. For example, it is not the norm for women to have their first kids below the age of 20 years and above the age of 40 years. If a graph is drawn to represent different aspect of the human behaviour, you will get a normal distribution. This is a bell-shaped curve.
