At the age of seven Kurt's life took a drastic turn. His parents divorced and he was forced to look at the world in a different light. As the home situation got worse, Kurt was ferried between houses staying with different family and friends. He even spent a night sleeping under a bridge. Kurt had, by this time, become very alienated from other people and life; he was very detached and emotionally inward he had few friends at school as people thought he was either weird or gay.
