The Dichotomy is the first of Zeno's paradoxes that shall be described. Here the premise that Zeno takes is that space is infinitely divisible. Zeno states that in order to reach an object; you must get halfway towards the object first. However, to get halfway towards an object you must get a quarter of the way towards the object first. As this will continue to happen an infinite amount of times, and since our space is infinitely divisible, the space will continue to get smaller indefinitely and it would be impossible to ever start.
