Cultural differences/Language Many languages in the world do not have the same concepts and sounds, so service users who originate from a different area may find it very hard to communicate there needs to us as they have different meaning s for different words. For example in England to gesture someone to stop we raise our hand palm facing upwards, in Greece however this is very different as it actually means 'You are dirt' and therefore is considered very rude. When in health settings we must think clearly and try to have a good relationship and understanding with someone from a different culture.
