People may not have even fallen in love if they had not heard other people speaking of love. However, the experiences of other people in relation to a certain sensation, such as pain, may not be quite the same as mine. What may be a "lot of pain" for them may not be the same as my opinion of a "lot of pain". In fact, what may be "pain" for me, may just be a slight discomfiture for them. Therefore, whenever we explain, or attempt to explain, our private sensations, the degree to which it can be expressed is quite limited.
